Analizando las estadísticas de los últimos años se observa que las alumnas eligen modalidad de Formación Profesional y carreras universitarias que tradicionalmente se han asociado al desempeño de la profesión por parte de mujeres, y los alumnos eligen alternativas que socialmente se vinculan a profesiones ejercidas por el hombre. Por ello, la orientación profesional debe incentivar tanto en los alumnos como en las alumnas una elección académica y profesional acorde con sus verdaderos intereses más que con estereotipos y prejuicios sociales. 03.
