El 31 de diciembre de 1973 la vida de la periodista Amanda Puz cambió para siempre. No cantar la Canción Nacional en la cena de Año Nuevo en un lujoso hotel viñamarino fue la razón de su exilio. Amanda Puz, subdirectora de la en ese entonces transgresora Revista Paula se exilió en Francia junto a su familia. Sin lugar a dudas su fortaleza, sus hijas y la búsqueda de la felicidad fueron los factores que influyeron en que Amanda Puz saliera adelante y rearmara su camino. Un camino que nos cuenta en sus memorias. Un relato que provoca emoción, pena, pero también risa en muchos momentos. Es el reflejo del sentir de una mujer que como tantos otros vivió una situación tan dolorosa como es el exilio, que tuvo que reinventarse y que hoy se siente chilena y francesa.
