The Vindicators
In the summer of 1879, young Ben Drake travels to the town of Mason in New Mexico. The 18-year-old aims to find out the truth about his father's death at the hands of a lynch-mob, but soon the events which led to his father's death cast his own life into hazard. Drake finds himself drawn into the Mason County War, in which a band of young men challenge the iron rule of businessman Angus McBride who seems to have the authorities at his beck and call. The confrontation culminates in the youngsters fighting against a troop of US Cavalry, in what will come to be called the Battle of Grover's Mill.

When Marshal Brent McAllister is told by the doctor that he has less than a year to live, he decides that he will not wait passively for death to overtake him. Instead, he determines to hunt down and dispose of the worst men in the state; vicious and depraved criminals, whom the law cannot touch. Kiowa Rising
When the stage to El Paso is ambushed by road agents, the only passenger able to take a lead in resisting the bandits is retired provost marshal Talbot Rogers. Not only must he lead the other passengers to safety, he also finds himself carrying word to an army base about an imminent Indian uprising. With a band of outlaws dogging his steps and a young girl to protect, it will be a race against time for Rogers to warn the outpost of Fort Williams about the danger about to engulf it.
Last Confession of Rick O'Shea
When Irishman Richard O'Shea, commonly known to everybody as Rick O'Shea, decides that the time has come to give up his life of banditry and return to his own country, he feels the need first to make his confession in San Angelo's Catholic church. His plans are thrown into disarray when, at the priest's urging, he delays his voyage home, in order to undertake the rescue of a child being held to ransom across the border in Mexico. Caught between a vicious band of cutthroats on the one side and a crooked lawman on the other, Rick O'Shea's chances of gettingback to Ireland in one piece seem to dwindle by the minute and he soon finds himself wishing that he'd never troubledhimself with confessing his sins in the first place.
Jack Parker Comes of Age
Jack Parker, the fifteen-year-old son of the sheriff of Mayfield, does not enjoy a close and loving relationship with his father. When a vicious range war erupts in the area, Jack and his father are drawn closer when they find themselves fighting against an incursion by a band of Texan freebooters, and for a time it looks as though the youngster is destined to follow in his father's footsteps by becoming a lawman.

What should have been the simple robbery of a stagecoach for outlaw Brent Clancy turns into a deadly game of wits with a band of assassins determined to kill the President of the United States. In the course of this adventure, the one-time road agent finds himself on the right side of the law for a novelty, fighting both to save the President's life while at the same time avenging a personal grievance.
Archer's Luck
When drifter Lew Archer meets a priest, while travelling along a lonely road in Texas; he thinks nothing of it. But this chance encounter sets in motion a train of events which, strange to relate, sees Archer undertaking to escort a party of nuns through hostile territory to start a school on the Mexican border. With war and bloodshed around them, it will be a miracle if they manage to make their way to safety. If anybody can help them achieve their aim it is Lew Archer, although we he should take the trouble to do so is a mystery to everybody; including Archer himself!
