The two-volume set LNAI 10632 and 10633 constitutes the proceedings of the 16th Mexican International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, MICAI 2017, held in Enseneda, Mexico, in October 2017. The total of 60 papers presented in these two volumes was carefully reviewed and selected from 203 submissions. La encrucijada ambiental
La presente obra tiene como objetivo analizar la encrucijada ambiental actual en el devenir de los territorios, conformando un espacio de confluencia, colaboración e intercambio de experiencias y conocimientos para el abordaje de los desafíos ambientales, así como las coyunturas para dar solución a las problemáticas contemporáneas. La compleja situación ambiental actual se revela como una encrucijada que sitúa al ser humano en el centro de profundos problemas que amenazan la calidad del entorno y la propia continuidad de su forma de vida. Al mismo tiempo le coloca frente a oportunidades excepcionales para compensar la intensidad de los impactos que provocan los procesos antrópicos, así como para fundamentar alternativas de desarrollo que favorezcan tanto la conservación ambiental como el bienestar social. The second volume of the World Encyclopedia of Contemporary Theatre covers the Americas, from Canada to Argentina, including the United States. Entries on twenty-six countries are preceded by specialist introductions on Theatre in Post-Colonial Latin America, Theatres of North America, Puppet Theatre, Theatre for Young Audiences, Music Theatre and Dance Theatre.
