Isaac Barefoot Runyan (ca. 1750-1867) moved from New Jersey to Rockingham County, Virginia and married Margaret Rambo in 1777. He served in the Revolutionary War, moved to Tennessee and then Alabama, where he died in Talladega County. Descendants lived in Alabama, Arkansas, Texas, Oregon and elsewhere.
