The volume is the result of the 40th Annual Vascular Symposium sponsored by the Division of Vascular Surgery, Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University. The symposium was held in Chicago on December 10–14, 2015. The symposium was held at the InterContinental Hotel on Chicago's Magnificent Mile.
