A Boa-Fé Objetiva no Direito Tributário Brasileiro
Nesta obra, buscou-se examinar o modo como tem sido aplicada a boa-fé objetiva pelo Tribunal Regional Federal da 4a Região, em especial no que tange a casos que envolviam matéria tributária, por intermédio de uma pesquisa empírica na jurisprudência. O pesquisador analisou 1285 acórdãos proferidos no período de trinta anos e selecionou 308 decisões, as quais foram submetidas a uma análise estatística aprofundada. Os resultados tiveram uma abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa, com a descrição detalhada deles e com a construção de inúmeras tabelas. A análise do número de julgamentos por ano de casos que envolviam a boa-fé objetiva em matéria tributária, a tendência de entendimento mais favorável ou desfavorável a quem utilizou o princípio como base argumentativa, o percentual de êxito do Fisco e dos contribuintes, a chance de sucesso conforme o relator de cada caso, bem como a expectativa de resultado quando a boa-fé foi utilizada com outros fundamentos jurídicos foram alguns dos resultados encontrados.

This books is the product of research conducted in the Brazilian Border with Bolívia in 2013, where a migrant temporary shelter hosted, under a humanitarian visa, hundreds of Haitians that had fled several stages of human insecurity back in their homeland.
