Descendants of Johann Georg Kleinpeter (b. ca. 1728) and his wife, Gertrude Hetz (b. ca. 1734), who were German settlers of Iberville, Louisiana in 1774. Johann first immigrated to Frederick Co., Maryland in the latter part of the 1700s from Germany.
