Mais do que estudo específico sobre o diálogo judicial internacional entre cortes de direitos humanos, a obra traça uma análise de como, e por quê, nasceu a justiça internacional em matéria de Direitos Humanos, que se firmou como uma maneira de preencher o espaço que ainda faltava no ordenamento jurídico internacional, uma garantia em sentido estrito dos direitos humanos.
