Este libro reúne dieciocho ensayos acerca de la obra de Manuel Rojas (1896-1973) escritos por una nueva generación de lectores y lectoras con interés en interrogar el proyecto literario y de vida del autor desde aproximaciones críticas originales y novedosas. El oficio del escritor y las escenas de lectura, la representación de los espacios y el caminar, el diálogo con otras disciplinas artísticas y la cultura material, los posicionamientos de género y clase, son los ejes que articulan los escritos de este volumen y que nos invitan a revisitar la obra de Rojas prestando atención a sus narraciones más emblemáticas, pero también a aquellos textos menos conocidos que se vinculan con los géneros referenciales, la poesía, el teatro y la música.
