Female Social Entrepreneurship
Das Zusammenspiel von Unternehmertum, Gender, Nachhaltigkeit und insbesondere der sozialen Dimension ist komplex und unterschätzt. Diese Studie analysiert Social Entrepreneurship durch eine Gender-Linse und stellt deutsche Sozialunternehmerinnen und ihre politischen, sozialen und ökonomischen Kontexte dar. Im Rahmen eines deskriptiven qualitativen Forschungsdesigns wurden eine Sekundäranalyse verschiedener Dimensionen des Social Entrepreneurship-Systems und fünfundzwanzig Interviews durchgeführt. Die Autorin zeigt, dass dieser Sektor das Potenzial hat, Gender neu zu denken und die Wirtschaft neu zu gestalten, indem er Normen und Grenzen in Richtung eines systemischen Wandels herausfordert.
Consumption and Advertising in Eastern Europe and Russia in the Twentieth Century
This book explores Eastern European consumer cultures in the twentieth century, taking a comparative perspective and conceptualizing the peculiarities of consumption in the region. Contributions cover lifestyles and marketing strategies in imperial contexts in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries; urban consumer cultures in the Interwar Period; and consumer and advertising cultures in the Soviet Union and its satellite republics. It traces the development of marketing throughout the century, and the changes in society brought about by democratization and the 'Americanization' of consumption.
