Benzedeiras
Esta obra é uma pesquisa histórica sobre as benzedeiras tradicionais de Curitiba. Em 2009 identificamos e registramos as benzedeiras em atividade e que benziam de graça, reconhecidas como benzedeiras tradicionais. Apresentamos aqui os registros dos benzimentos por meio de fotografias e das rezas, além da história de vida de cinco benzedeiras. Ritos e rezas que se repetem entre as mais de 60 benzedeiras identificadas, contudo com presenças de religiosidades diversas, desde de santos populares como Maria Bueno e Monge José Maria, até referências espíritas como Leocádio Correa e umbandistas como preto velhos e caboclos.
