I heard that the most powerful tycoon in A city, the gentry, was the one in charge of the Kang family — Kang Mo Bei. It was said that he would never smile, that his eyes were as cold as ice, and that his killing intent could penetrate through the air. However, Bai Xinxi had been pestered by such a man, and was still pestering him to the point of death! "You can't let go?" "Not at all." "If you have the ability, then hit me." "Kick!" Bai Xinxi was flustered and exasperated as he kicked out. Since you've already done what you said, it means that you are truly capable. " Kang Mo Bei grabbed Bai Nian Xi's feet and pulled her back down again. With a smile, he said, "I like sleeping with women like you who are capable and arrogant."

Between the fall of the Han dynasty in 220 CE and the year 600, more than thirty dynasties, kingdoms, and states rose and fell on the eastern side of the Asian continent. Nearly all of them built palaces, altars, temples, tombs, and cities, and almost without exception, the architecture was grounded in the building tradition of China. Illustrated with more than 475 color and black-and-white photographs, maps, and drawings, Chinese Architecture in an Age of Turmoil uses all available evidence—Chinese texts, secondary literature in six languages, excavation reports, and most import...
The Book of Later Han (Houhanshu) by Fan Ye (398-445) is enormously important as China’s most complete work on Eastern Han history in biographical form. For the first time in any Western language, the author introduces Fan Ye’s magnificent writings in lively translation with rich annotation and informative and insightful commentary. This first volume covers its early military history and highlights the lives and achievements of the twenty-eight generals who helped Emperor Guangwu unify China and establish the Eastern Han dynasty. Also included are images of these twenty-eight founding fathers, maps, and information related to early Eastern Han systems.
Dao De Jing, or so simply referred to as the Laozi, is a Chinese classic text. The text's true authorship and date of composition or compilation are still debated. The oldest excavated portion dates back to the late 4th century BCE, but modern scholarship dates other parts of the text as having been written, or at least compiled later than the earliest portions of the Zhuangzi. The Tao Te Ching, along with the Zhuangzi, is a fundamental text for both philosophical and religious Taoism, and strongly influenced other schools, such as Legalism, Confucianism, and Chinese Buddhism, which when first introduced into China was largely interpreted through the use of Daoist words and concepts. Many Chinese artists, including poets, painters, calligraphers, and even gardeners, have used the Daodejing as a source of inspiration. Its influence has also spread widely outside East Asia, and it is among the most translated works in world literature.
This book presents an archeological interpretation of the history of Chinese civilization. Tracing back from recent history to the distant past, it explores the breadth of Chinese civilization. Using archeological remains and cultural relics as starting points and approaching the cultural dimension from material perspectives, it presents a panoramic view of China’s civilizational continuity, together with its ideological and cultural characteristics. Featuring a wealth of illustrations (including photos of cultural relics and sites, archeological surveys, etc.) and texts written in easy-to-understand language, it offers an engaging read without sacrificing academic quality. The main components of “civilization” are addressed: capital archeology, mausoleum archeology, ritual wares and architecture archeology, as well as written language. The book offers a unique resource for archeology scholars and majors, as well as general readers who are interested in Chinese archeology and history.

"How long has it been since you last did it? Do you want it?" The first time we met, he circled around my waist and charmingly asked me in my ear. Until a long time later, I wondered if I had fallen in love with him, or if I had simply fallen in love with the lust he had given me and was unable to extricate myself.
