Song Qiting smirked as her fingertips covered in a thin cocoon, moved between her delicate skin. Her eagle-like eyes were filled with disdain: "Make peace?""No, I'm here to get a divorce ..." The beautiful wife in front of him drooped her thick butterfly eyelashes and spoke firmly.— Originally, he thought that this hateful marriage would only make her stay alone in the empty room. However, he didn't expect her to be crushed by so much pressure every night.Love? Dignity? Old relationship? Stop dreaming, all the CEO wants is? Day after day of torture!Having been told after her pregnancy that the child in her womb should not be her husband's, her mother, who had raised her for more than twenty years, suddenly confessed that she was nothing more than a tool for revenge. With reality heavily injured, what should she do now?
This book collects papers presented in the Invited Workshop, “Liutex and Third Generation of Vortex Definition and Identification for Turbulence,” from CHAOS2020, June 9-12, 2020, which was held online as a virtual conference. Liutex is a new physical quantity introduced by Prof. Chaoqun Liu of the University of Texas at Arlington. It is a vector and could give a unique and accurate mathematical definition for fluid rotation or vortex. The papers in this volume include some Liutex theories and many applications in hydrodynamics, aerodynamics and thermal dynamics including turbine machinery. As vortex exists everywhere in the universe, a mathematical definition of vortex or Liutex will play a critical role in scientific research. There is almost no place without vortex in fluid dynamics. As a projection, the Liutex theory will play an important role on the investigations of the vortex dynamics in hydrodynamics, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, oceanography, meteorology, metallurgy, civil engineering, astronomy, biology, etc. and to the researches of the generation, sustenance, modelling and controlling of turbulence.
This book highlights some of the latest advances in nanotechnology and nanomaterials from leading researchers in Ukraine, Europe and beyond. It features contributions presented at the 8th International Science and Practice Conference Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials (NANO2020), which was held on August 26–29, 2020 at Lviv Polytechnic National University, and was jointly organized by the Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, University of Tartu (Estonia), University of Turin (Italy), and Pierre and Marie Curie University (France). Internationally recognized experts from a wide range of universities and research institutions share their knowledge and key findings on material properties, behavior, and synthesis. This book’s companion volume also addresses topics such as nano-optics, energy storage, and biomedical applications.
The knowledge of quantitative turbulence mechanics relies heavily upon the definition of the concept of a vortex in mathematical terms. This reference work introduces the reader to Liutex, which is an accepted, accurate and mathematical definition of a vortex. The core of this book is a compilation of several papers on the subject. presented in the 13th World Congress of Computational Mechanics (WCCM2018), Symposium 704, Mathematics and Computations for Multiscale Structures of Turbulent and Other Complex Flows, New York, United States on July 27, 2018. This compilation also includes other research papers which explain the work done on the vortex definition, vortex identification and turbulence structure from different insight angles including mathematics, computational physics and experiments. The thirteen chapters in this volume will be informative to scientists and engineers who are interested in advanced theories about fluid dynamics, vortex science and turbulence research.
A theoretical critique of the patent and innovation policy funnelled by intellectual property instruments towards developing countries.
This collection focuses on the development of novel approaches to address one of the most pressing challenges of civil engineering, namely the mitigation of natural hazards. Numerous engineering books to date have focused on, and illustrate considerable progress toward, mitigation of individual hazards (earthquakes, wind, and so forth.). The current volume addresses concerns related to overall safety, sustainability and resilience of the built environment when subject to multiple hazards: natural disaster events that are concurrent and either correlated (e.g., wind and surge); uncorrelated (e.g., earthquake and flood); cascading (e.g., fire following earthquake); or uncorrelated and occurrin...

This book mainly focuses on the research fields of Economic Management and Big Data Applications, specifically on the combination of the two. It covers all the excellent papers presented in the 3rd International Conference on Economic Management and Big Data Application (ICEMBDA 2022), and aims to provide a solid reference for experts and scholars engaged in the fields of economics, management science, data modeling and cloud computing, to share typical cases, scientific methods, cutting-edge technologies and novel insights. In this age of data, the book initiated by the researchers and analysts from various related disciplines will provide more knowledge, technical support and directional guidance to promote the development and upgrading of research in management science and economic research.
