Pemahaman Lintas Budaya
Buku ini membahas tiga wacana pemahaman lintas budaya. Pertama, pemahaman lintas budaya antar etnis di Indonesia, kedua, pemahaman lintas budaya Indonesia dengan bangsa-bangsa asia timur, dan ketiga, pemahaman lintas budaya Indonesia dengan budaya barat. Pada wacana yang pertama yaitu pemahaman lintas budaya antar etnis di Indonesia, dibahas isu mulai dari konflik komunikasi pada pernikahan antar suku, penyesuaian diri pada budaya baru bagi mahasiswa rantau, pertemanan antarbudaya, strategi komunikasi masyarakat pendatang dengan budaya penduduk asli di suatu wilayah, nilai-nilai keluarga, hingga stereotipe yang terlanjur dilekatkan masyarakat etnis-etnis tertentu.
