A influência eclesiástica e o abuso de poder religioso no processo eleitoral
O trabalho investiga a admissibilidade da influência religiosa no processo eleitoral. Busca esquadrinhar a existência de limites para a liberdade de manifestação dos líderes eclesiásticos. Pretende identificar na legislação eleitoral práticas ilícitas de ministros religiosos. Cuida de analisar a existência de respaldo no ordenamento jurídico para a punição dos atos entendidos como abuso de poder religioso. Debruça-se sobre o conceito e extensão da laicidade estatal, bem como as espécies tipificadas de abuso de poder. A metodologia do trabalho é pura, baseada em doutrina, artigos científicos, leis e jurisprudência sobre a matéria. A pesquisa concluiu pela impossibilidade jurídica de punição do instituto doutrinário denominado abuso de poder religioso porquanto desprovido de respaldo legal. A conclusão do trabalho foi pela admissibilidade de punição dos atos abusivos de ministros religiosos quando associados aos abusos de poder tipificados pela legislação eleitoral.
