Environmental stresses represent the most limiting factors for agricultural productivity. Advancements in high-throughput “Omics” techniques have revolutionized plant molecular biology research. Furthermore, post-translational modifications, subcellular localization, and protein–protein interactions provide deeper insight into protein molecular function.
