Pervasive Computing and the Networked World
This book constitutes the refereed post-proceedings of the Joint International Conference on Pervasive Computing and the Networked World, ICPCA-SWS 2012, held in Istanbul, Turkey, in November 2012. Moderne Sklaverei – Rechtliche Maßnahmen gegen Ausbeutung und Misshandlung in der VR China
Mit dem Begriff der Sklaverei wird gemeinhin vor allem das 18. und 19. Jahrhundert in Amerika verbunden. Abertausende Afrikaner waren aus ihrer Heimat entführt worden, um auf Plantagen oder in reichen Haushalten zu arbeiten. Auch heute noch ist die Sklaverei präsent, nur äußert sie sich in anderen Formen wie Menschenhandel, Kinderarbeit, Zwangsprostitution, Zwangsehe und Arbeitssklaven. Obwohl einschlägige Gesetze zu diesen Verbrechen vorhanden sind, ist die Bekämpfung schwierig. Diese Studie widmet sich daher der Frage, wie sich die Realität von der Theorie unterscheidet. Welche Gesetze werden erlassen und wie werden sie umgesetzt? Aufgrund der Komplexität und Aktualität des Themas wird nur auf die derzeit geltenden Gesetze, Beschlüsse und Verordnungen eingegangen, um sich dem Problem der modernen Sklaverei in China und den gegenwärtigen rechtlichen Schutzmaßnahmen zu nähern.
