People and Things from the Cullman, Alabama Tribune 1914 - 1920
By the turn of the 20th Century, Cullman was firmly established as the preeminent settlement in the hill country between the Tennessee Valley and the mineral region surrounding Birmingham. The Cullman Alabama Tribune continued to record news of the development of the city, county, and surrounding region. As with the first two books of this series, microfilm was obtained from the State Archives in Montgomery and a page by page examination of the newspaper was conducted and every birth, death, marriage, obituary, and news important to the history and development of Cullman County was recorded. This volume also contains rare first person accounts of the Civil War activities of George Martin Holcombe and Elijah Wilson Harper ("Killacranky"). This book is important to any genealogist or historian with connections to Cullman County and contains many rare accounts and mentions of the earliest settlers of the region.
Littlepage Sims, Our Kinsman
This is a family history of the descendants of Littlepage Sims (ca. 1765-ca. 1830), who was born in Virginia. He fought Indians in Tennessee, where he married Mary (Polly) Sherrill in 1792 (she was a widow of Isaac Taylor). They later moved to Jefferson County, Ala- bama, where he was a signer of the Alabama Constitution by election. Descendants and relatives lived in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas and elsewhere.

Gubernatorial Elections 1787-1997 is a unique collection of state-by-state election data for every gubernatorial race in the history of the nation. General election returns (including special elections) and percentages of the vote received are provided for every state election from 1787 to 1997. Primary vote returns are provided for most states back to 1956 and for Southern states back to 1919. All general election and primary candidates receiving at least 5 percent of the total vote have been included. Cullman County, Alabama Cemeteries, Volume 4
Cullman County was established in 1877 in large part from the west side of Blount and the east side of Winston counties. Today, the few old cemeteries which existed in those counties in the early days are found within the borders of Cullman. The cemetery listings in this four volume set were conducted by the author beginning in 2003 and ending in early 2006. An attempt was made to personally visit every cemetery in Cullman County and record information from each readable monument. Volume 4 of this series covers alphabetically cemeteries M through Z, beginning with the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery and concluding with the Zion Grove Cemetery. The volumes are filled with photos of many of the old cemetery sites and notes describing the company and unit of most of the old Civil War era veterans. This set of books is vital to any serious student of Cullman County genealogy and history.
