Creativity
Creativity and innovation go hand in hand. This book presents a plethora of creative interventions in education, culture, expressions, communications, and other areas. Each chapter brings forth a core idea well attested on the scales of creative interventions. It is a collaborative effort to bring forth multidisciplinary creativity in the ever-evolving world of design, communication, and possibilities. There is really no logical order to the book. You do not necessarily have to start at the beginning, just find a chapter that interests you and read. I hope that you find the book stimulating as well as informative.
ISCS 2020
We proudly present the proceedings of 1st International Seminar on Cultural Sciences 2020 (ISCS 2020). It focuses on the relation of gender, indigenous people, environment, religion, etc. The issue of culture and development is important today, especially in the time of Covid-19, not only globally, but also Indonesia nationally to the local level. There are several important issues relating to this, both institutionally and the relationships between individuals and groups in supporting the agenda of sustainable development. More than 75 manuscripts were presented at this conference with around 33 of them selected to be published in proceedings. We hope by this conference, discussions on the importance of culture and development will increasingly become an important concern together and bring better response from the government and social relations for development.
Disabilitas dan Pendidikan Inklusif di Perguruan Tinggi
Buku ini memiliki empat bab yang secara teoritis dan praktis berusaha menggambarkan implementasi pendidikan tinggi inklusif bagi penyandang disabilitas. Pemilihan Universitas Brawijaya (UB) sebagai studi kasus didasarkan pada beberapa kriteria unik yang dimiliki oleh UB, yaitu: pertama, sejak tahun 2012 – 2018 UB adalah satu-satunya perguruan tinggi di Indonesia yang memiliki kebijakan afirmasi seleksi masuk perguruan tinggi bagi penyandang disabilitas. Disability Studies di UIN Sunan Kalijaga
UIN Sunan Kalijaga adalah perguruan tinggi inklusif pertama di Indonesia. Selain terdapat pusat layanan yang mendukung terwujudnya pendidikan inklusif, ada banyak kegiatan yang mendukung berkembangnya kajian dalam bidang disability studies. Mulai dari diskusi bulanan, seminar, konferensi, publikasi buku, hingga riset dalam bentuk skripsi, tesis, dan disertasi. Buku ini merekam kontribusi UIN Sunan Kalijaga dalam studi disabilitas di Indonesia.
Praktik Pendidikan Bagi Penyandang Disabilitas
Prosiding ini merupakan bentuk apresiasi dari PSLD UB kepada para pendidik, baik di tingkat pendidikan menengah atas maupun di perguruan tinggi yang memiliki minat dan perhatian kepada penyandang disabilitas. Melalui LKTI ini, PSLD UB ingin membangun jejaring antar pendidik yang sama-sama memiliki minat untuk memberikan dukungan optimal kepada penyandang disabilitas. Selain itu, dengan hadirinya prosiding ini diharapkan mampu memperluas penyebaran pengetahuan, pengalaman praktis, serta gagasan dalam optimalisasi pelayanan pendidikan bagi penyandang disabilitas. PSLD sangat berharap, prosiding ini akan menjadi pemicu para pendidik untuk terus bersinergi dan berinovasi khususnya dalam memberikan dukungan optimalisasi bagi penyandang disabilitas.

Capital, capabilities and culture: a human development approach to student and school transformation
This book applies the capability approach as an evaluative lens through which to explore the range of capabilities that emerged over a three-year period, through the Trinity Access 21 – College for Every Student (TA21-CFES) higher education access project in four schools. Qualitative analysis is presented from a longitudinal study of four schools over a three-year period, drawing on data from four student focus groups involving 21 student participants and 14 individual student interviews.
