ENGLISH FOR MEDICAL STUDENTS
This book consists of six chapters. Each unit presents reading, writing, and speaking sections. Reading section mainly consists of pre-reading, reading comprehension, and vocabulary exercises related to the topic of the text.

Buku ajar ini disusun dengan mempertimbangkan pentingnya kemampuan dan peran penerjemah lisan dalam memfasilitasi hambatan bahasa (language barrier) antara penutur bahasa sumber dan penutur bahasa sasaran. Peran alihbahasawan ini semakin dirasakan seiring meningkatnya kebutuhan global akan informasi dan berbagai kegiatan bisnis. Mengingat terbatasnya buku-buku, khususnya yang membahas tentang penerjemahan lisan (Interpreting) di samping besarnya tantangan dan kualifikasi yang dituntut dari seorang alihbahasawan dalam bidang ini, penulis berharap buku ajar ini dapat memberi kontribusi terhadap pelajar dan mahasiswa serta siapa saja yang mendalami kajian-kajian yang menyangkut aktifitas interpretasi bahasa. Buku ajar ini membahas tentang jenis-jenis interpretasi, prinsip-prinsip dasar yang harus dipahami alihbahasawan, membuat catatan (note taking), serta langkah-langkah utama dalam melakukan interpretasi konsekutif.
PSIKOLINGUISTIK
Buku ini berjudul: Psikolinguistik: Pengaruh Budaya pada Perilaku Berbahasa tulisan ini disusun untuk memenuhi literatur pada MK Psikolinguistik yang terbatas. Buku ini ditulis berdasarkan hasil analisis dan kajian data pemerolehan bahasa pada anak, perilaku berbahasa sebagai bias budaya ketika PBM dan data perilaku berbahasa berdasarkan budaya pada sosial media dan sumber lainnya. Buku Psikolinguistik terdiri dari Sembilan BAB, yaitu: BAB 1 Psikologi Bahasa, BAB 2 Bahasa dan Pikiran, BAB 3 Konsep Berbahasa, Berpikir, dan Berbudaya, BAB 4 Perkembangan Berbahasa Anak, BAB 5 Pemerolehan Fonologi pada Anak Usia 1-5 Tahun, BAB 6 Kontribusi Psikolinguistik dalam Pemelajaran, BAB 7 Perilaku Berbahasa pada Media Sosial, BAB 8 Perilaku Berbahasa Gaul pada Media.

ICLLE 2019
As an annual event, International Conference on Language, Literature, and Education in Digital Era (ICLLE) 2019 continued the agenda to bring together researcher, academics, experts and professionals in examining selected theme by language, literature and education in digital era. In 2019, this event held in 19-20 July 2019 at Padang, Indonesia. The conference from any kind of stakeholders related with Language and literature especially in education. Each contributed paper was refereed before being accepted for publication. The double-blind peer reviewed was used in the paper selection.
Educating the Gifted and Talented
Following the publication of the House of Commons Education Select Committee Report in 1999, the Department of Education and Employment has set up a number of initiatives, including Excellence in Cities, to address the problematic issues relating to provision for gifted and talented pupils in primary and secondary schools. This book rehearses and develops further the central idea put forward by the authors in the first edition titled Educating Able Children that teachers remain the essential resource to ensure appropriate provision for gifted and talented pupils.
