Proceedings of the Fifth Sriwijaya University Learning and Education International Conference (SULE-IC 2022)
This is an open access book. The 5th Sriwijaya University Learning and Education International Conference (5th SULE-IC 2022) was held on October 5, 2022 in Palembang, South Sumatera, Indonesia. Palembang is a historic city located on the island of Sumatera. It was the capital of the Empire of Sriwijaya. During the glory of the Empire, it was one of the major learning centers in Asia. To continue the legacy of the Empire’s spirit of learning, the conference will, once more, be the gathering for academicians and professionals from education and related fields all over the world, to share ideas and innovations. The main goal of the 2022 SULE-IC is to provide and opportunity for academicians and professional from various education related field from all over the world to come together and learn from each other. Furthermore, the additional goal is to provide a place for academicians and professionals with disciplinary interests related to education to meet and interact with members inside and outside their own particular disciplines.

This study discusses the process of military reform in Indonesia after the fall of Suharto?s New Order regime in 1998. The extent of Indonesia?s progress in this area has been the subject of heated debate, both in Indonesia and in Western capitals. Human rights organizations and critical academics, on the one hand, have argued that the reforms implemented so far have been largely superficial, and that Indonesia?s armed forces remain a highly problematic institution. Buku desain UI/UX memiliki empat pembahasan, yaitu pembahasan dasar pengetahuan, pembahasan komponen riset dan desain, pembahasan komponen prototype front end, serta pembahasan implementasi project. Pembahasan dasar pengetahuan berisi penjabaran mengenai pengetahuan dasar UI/UX dan metode pengembangan UI/UX yang paling populer atau banyak digunakan. Pembahasan komponen riset dan desain berisi penjabaran mengenai riset pengguna beserta analisisnya, elemen desain, desain UI, dan pengujian desain UI yang fokus pada usability dengan penggunaan beberapa tools atau metode. Pembahasan komponen prototype front end berisi penjabaran mengenai prototype front end dan pengujian pengguna terhadap hasil tampilan front end. Pembahasan implementasi project berisi penjabaran mengenai contoh implementasi project dengan metode pengembangan design thinking, dimulai dari riset pengguna dan analisis sampai pengujian prototype front end beserta analisisnya.

Buku ini juga menjelaskan fungsi politik dalam kehidupan bernegara, peran partai politik, partisipasi masyarakat, dan lembaga-lembaga politik seperti MPR, DPR, dan lembaga eksekutif. Demokrasi Indonesia dikupas dari perspektif perkembangan pasca-reformasi, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam menjaga demokrasi yang inklusif dan stabil. Selain itu, buku ini membahas budaya politik Indonesia yang dipengaruhi oleh patronase dan politik identitas berbasis suku, agama, dan ras. Dibahas juga sistem pemilu, ekonomi politik, dan kebijakan publik yang diwarnai oleh kepentingan politik.
